Description

Embark on your journey to becoming a certified lifeguard with the Bronze Medallion course. This program challenges candidates both mentally and physically, focusing on the four components of water rescue: judgment, knowledge, skill, and fitness. Participants will acquire the assessment and problem-solving skills needed to make sound decisions in, on, and around the water. The course includes a 400-meter timed swim and covers various rescue techniques for conscious and unconscious victims.

Description

Advance your lifesaving skills with the Bronze Cross course, which prepares candidates for responsibilities as assistant lifeguards. The program emphasizes teamwork, communication, and safe supervision in aquatic facilities. Candidates will strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills, including a 400-meter timed swim in under 11 minutes.

Description

The Lifesaving Society Assistant Instructor course combines classroom learning and in-water practice to equip candidates with the skills to support instructors in swimming and lifesaving classes. Participants will be introduced to essential teaching and learning principles, while mastering fundamental progressions. Emphasis is placed on understanding the roles and responsibilities of both instructors and their assistants.

Description

The Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor course equips instructors with the skills to teach and assess swimming strokes and related skills within the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life program. Candidates will learn effective teaching methods, lesson planning, and various drills for stroke development and correction techniques.
